HuReDee connects universities and educational institutions in Vietnam with Japanese companies to develop highly skilled talent capable of contributing in the fields of AI, data science, and digital technology.
Currently, HuReDee offers an OJT program for students in the HuReDee class at University of Information Technology (UIT), providing practical training in AI technologies and system development.
Alongside Japanese-language education, students work on assignments designed around real-world business needs, giving them opportunities to develop not only specialized AI expertise but also the practical skills required to succeed in Japanese companies.
Looking ahead, HuReDee plans to expand the program to students at HUTECH, HUST, UTC, as well as talented young people outside these universities, creating a broader and more diverse pipeline of AI talent.

Developing Talent Through Hands-On Experience
The Next Generation of AI Professionals
The HuReDee class at UIT offers a practical AI OJT program that gives students hands-on experience in AI and system development in an environment closely aligned with real-world business settings.
Students work in teams to tackle specific challenges using AI, gaining experience throughout the entire process, from planning and development to presenting their results.
Under the guidance of AI partners and engineers with professional experience, students develop the technical expertise and problem-solving skills they need to succeed in the workplace.

Connecting Education with Business Needs
HuReDee is also exploring initiatives to connect AI talent developed in Vietnam with the AI software development and digital transformation (DX) needs of Japanese companies.
By incorporating real-world business challenges into educational and research projects, we aim to create opportunities for joint research and development, internships, and recruitment. Our goal is to build a sustainable ecosystem in which talent development and solutions to business challenges reinforce one another.

Expanding Collaboration and Our Future Vision
Building on the talent development framework established at UIT, HuReDee plans to expand its initiatives to universities including HUTECH, HUST, and UTC, as well as to talented young people outside these institutions.
We also envision the Japan–Vietnam AI Research Center Initiative, which will further expand our efforts into three key areas: the development of highly skilled AI talent, joint research with Japanese companies, and international collaboration that leverages the strengths of both Japan and Vietnam.
Our goal is to establish a foundation for Japan–Vietnam AI collaboration, bringing together universities, companies, experts, and government organizations on an ongoing basis and creating an integrated framework spanning education, research and development, and talent utilization.
“From practical AI education to joint research and development with industry.”
